Hey Steve, Tony from the Tech Garden up in Syracuse NY. I wanted to make you aware of a new investment program we've developed called The Germinator. Over 2 years, companies compete for up to $250k in startup investment. During that time, there are structured workshops, trainings, and pitch competitions that up the ante for those not eliminated from money rounds.
I'd love to write about the companies once the program starts in April. If you know of any companies in need of funding, in house development, and more, send them this link and my email address.
Applications close March 24th 2015.
Good morning. I just read your SXSW post and am interested in seeing the follow-up piece. This will be my first year at SXSW and I am helping with one of the events, HATCH. It is a pitch competition for startups with revolutionary ideas. We will be selecting fifteen finalists to present their business plans to a panel of corporate, angel, and venture investor judges in front of a well-connected audience at the SXSW 2012 Startup Village on March 11th, 2012 in Austin, TX. The event is geared toward tech startups with an interesting or disruptive product and strong growth potential. If you know if any startups that may be interested in pitching at SXSW, would you let them know or give them my contact info? They will need to apply at http://goo.gl/jSjVo by February 6th. Thank you very much for your time and assistance. CB
Colleen - thanks for the comment. This sounds super interesting. Maybe part of the follow up could you writing a guest post about the winning companies and what they gained from their experience. Please stay in touch with us.
